Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - XP - What you think it is

This version of XP is cheaper than your typical version you find in the store or online - not sure why, but I saw someone refer to it when I was contemplating running Parallels on my MacBook. Works, well, like what you would expect. It did the job.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works good for use in parallels for IMac.
Used this on my IMac works great. I did have an issue getting the internet to run through windows using parallel program. Using information on the web got this issue resolved. Problem was setting up the parellel program not in this software.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - works perfectly with VMWare Fusion
Great price and all you need to plug into VMWare Fusion so that you can have Windows up and running.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - XP trumps Vista
I bought a Dell laptop with Windows Vista installed, which never performed well. Vista was slow, unstable and incompatible with much of my software and periferals, so XP was the perfect solution. I had to hire a professional to delete Vista and install XP, but it was well worth the extra cost. If you take this route be sure to make copies of everything because all will be lost in the transition.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Perfect for Mac with VMWare Fusion
I found all the different versions of Windows very confusing as to what would work properly (and legally) on my new MacPro while spending minimum $$. After looking at a couple of reviews here I bought this version of Windows XP along with VMWare Fusion to be able to run Street Atlas and the few other programs only available for Windows. Installation was a breeze and it works great. I haven't run any intensive applications but Street Atlas and my Garmin software run perfectly. Only four stars... after all it's still Wiindows. :-)
